The short version

AbroadReady is designed to work without accounts. The scholarship board, quiz, SOP builder and assistant all run in your browser. We don't require you to sign up to use them, and we don't sell personal data to third parties.

What stays on your device

• Quiz answers are used only to filter results and are not sent to a server.
• SOP drafts are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your work. They stay on your device and you can clear them any time.
• Assistant questions are answered from local data in your browser.

What we collect

• Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store the email you provide to send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Contact forms: if you message us, we keep what you send in order to reply.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see which pages are most helpful. It collects aggregate, non-identifying stats such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and referral source.

Advertising

AbroadReady is a free platform supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
