Belt and Road Scholarship (China) eligibility criteria

  • Citizen of a Belt and Road partner country (including Pakistan)
  • Non-Chinese citizen in good health
  • Bachelors: high school graduate, under 25; Masters: Bachelor's degree, under 35; PhD: Master's degree, under 40
  • Meet university admission requirements
  • Not a current Chinese government scholarship holder
  • English proficiency or Chinese proficiency (HSK 4+ for Chinese-taught programmes)
