Foreign (non-French) nationality
Applications submitted only by French higher education institutions, not directly by students
Applying for a Master's (M1/M2), engineering, or joint doctoral programme in a priority discipline
Cannot be combined with another French government or Erasmus+ scholarship
New doctoral candidates seeking a 36-month grant must not already be studying in France
Selection based on academic excellence of the nominated student
