Amsterdam Merit Scholarship eligibility criteria

  • Non-EU/EEA international student
  • (Provisionally) admitted to a Master's programme at UvA
  • Excellent academic record (top 10-15% of your graduating class)
  • Meet UvA English language requirements (IELTS 6.5-7.0 / TOEFL 92-100)
  • No previous degree from UvA
  • Not eligible for Dutch government student finance
